Who says green and red is only acceptable for tacky Christmas sweater parties? I really love how this red bubble necklace looks over the lime green knit. Finished off with leather leggings and gold sandals, this outfit has casual cool written all over it. Happy post Christmas shopping!

I was always the type of girl to shy away from mixing prints, textures and colors. That is, until recently. I love how the lacy stripes settle over the flowy polka-dot dress. The red bag gives the outfit the pop of color it needs (especially since it was such a gloomy day by the lake). I've realized that there is nothing wrong with breaking out of your comfort zone every now and then and trying something different. And if you're lucky, you'll even make friends with baby ducklings, too.
