It's the first day of the spring semester, and all I can think about is blogging. What can I say, blogging is more exciting than Math for Liberal Arts Majors II. I'm loving the cooler temperatures here in Gainesville mostly because I get to wear some of my winter faves, including these boots I bought last year. If I need to be comfortable walking around campus from class to class, I might as well look cute. Hope you have a happy Monday!

I'm back in Gainesville for the spring semester! Although I miss my friends and family, I am happy to be back in my small college town. As of late, I am in love with oxblood anything. I snagged a pair of these at Marshalls, but they are selling these babies in practically every store. I wore this fringed top on Christmas Day over a tulle dress and thought maybe it would be hard to style with street clothes. But when paired with these jeans, it provides the perfect mix of fancy shmancy and casual cool. Another detail I love about this look is my sock bun (which went through many trial and error runs before looking like this). But with practice it gets easier. You can buy the styler here. WARM WINTER

You'd expect to spend the days prior to Christmas next to a warm fire all cozied up with chunky knit sweaters, toasting marshmallows and singing traditional carols, right? Wrong. It seems as though December hasn't come to our town yet. On the other hand, what has come to town is a variety of winter sales, including $7 jeans at Cotton On and $10 leggings and dresses at H&M. As people begin to do last-minute Christmas shopping, make sure to be on the lookout for blowout sales on seasonal items as well as those perfect for spring. Happy Wednesday!
