{1. Necklace | 2. Dress | 3. Satchel | 4. Scarf | 5. Flats}

How fast does time pass when you're not having fun? Not fast enough. With only two more days — yes! —until spring break, it's the perfect time to do some shopping. Mint is one of those colors, along with chick yellow,  that instantly reminds me of spring. This pastel color is a must have for the season, and these picks are both irresistible and affordable. New outfit posts are coming soon, so keep checking back for more!

{Look 1. Sweater | Belt | Studs | Booties | Sunnies | Bag | Maxi Skirt}
{Look 2. Top | Skirt | Heels | Hoops | Clutch | Cocktail Ring}

The special day of love and friendship is one that is, well, special to many people. Not only because you get to share your affection with those who you love and care for, but also because it's a good excuse to look adorable. The first look works for pretty much any daytime activity you do with your boo on V-day, including brunches, strolls along the park, shopping, etc. I really love how the feminine pleats get balanced out by the grunginess of the studded cross-body and the cut-out bootie (which I'm in love with by the way!). The touches of red give it a festive feel, and how can anyone resist to give you a smooch with those irresistible kissie studs?

As for Look 2, although Emma wore this outfit some time ago, I think it shouts Valentine's Day! I have seen many renditions of this look, whether you replace the lace top with a sheer long sleeve blouse or the peplum skirt with a wide, red pant. Either way, the color block combination is to swoon over, which is exactly what you want your honey to be doing. The nude pump allows the focus to remain on the bright pieces and the black accessories gives the entire look a touch of elegance. I would style my hair up, add a dash of mascara and eyeliner and strut out the door.

I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day, whether you're out on a fashionable date or in your sweats watching re-runs of your favorite TV shows.

Until next time,
Yaissy xo

January has been a big month for me. The second semester of my junior year has begun, giving me an early case of major senioritis. However, in between the lazy (and hungover!) mornings, afternoons and nights, I have found time to Instagram a couple of chic moments. I have also found my signature Michael Kors snaps are rather popular. I decided to share my makeup collection (which is not very big) to all my Instagram followers, and a few people asked where I bought the acrylic organizers. I stole this baby at the low price of $15.99 last year at Marshalls — or was it TJ Maxx? Anyway, here is one that I think will be perfect for anyone with a decent size makeup collection.

Happy Sunday! Xoxo!

{1. Clutch | 2. Bikini Top & Bottom | 3. Oxfords (similar) | 4. Skirt | 5. Scarf}

Spring is almost here: Hip-hip-horray! I love this time of year, mostly only because of spring pastels and Easter. But, also because it's the perfect time to wear our (no, not stripes) florals! This is a hot trend for spring, and it's one of the easiest to wear. The high waisted bikini bottom is only $24 and can be mix-matched with a cream or red bikini top. I would wear the scarf — which by the way is only $10! — as a stylish headband to add some sass to my outfit. The full skirt is perfect for an evening out or to wear to the office. However, one of the easiest ways to pull the flower power craze off is by finding a cute floral print top and styling it with a solid-colored blazer, skinnies and nude heels!
